Stuffed cabbage rolls for many tastes
We produce fresh and frozen cabbage rolls for the food industry. Our rolls are made with vegetable or meat stuffing using various recipes. We act as a subcontractor for our customers. We also assist our customers in product development and customising recipes. Our customers include food companies, wholesalers and the HoReCa sector.
For domestic and export markets
Vaissi Oy is Finland’s leading producer of stuffed cabbage rolls. We produce about 40,000–50,000 delicious rolls every day. Vaissi is a family business whose cabbage rolls are mainly enjoyed at Finnish tables. We also produce cabbage rolls for export.
Cabbage for our own needs and those of others
In addition to our cabbage roll production plant, we have a cabbage leaf plant for producing pre-cooked cabbage leaves and pulp. We prepare frozen cabbage for our cabbage roll plant and for other companies in the food industry.
Each cabbage leaf weighs 59–64 g.
The cabbage leaves and pulp are frozen as 10-kg blocks.
One block of cabbage leaves consists of about 150 leaves.
The cabbage leaves and pulp are usually packed into 560-kg pallets, with 55 blocks on each pallet.
Cabbage is also available in smaller batches, packed into a 30-kg cardboard box holding three 10-kg blocks.
